Best Time to Visit Galu Beach
The best time to visit Galu Beach depends on what you want: the windy months for kitesurfing, and calm low-tide mornings from December to March for walking and swimming. Reef walks and the shallows are best around low tide. Check the tide table, because the reef flat drains at low tide.
Galu Beach Safety
Swim and walk away from the kite launch areas, keep clear of lines on the sand, and wear reef shoes in the shallows at low tide. Book jet skis, kitesurf lessons and boat trips at a listed price rather than on the sand. Keep valuables at your hotel.
